I am SO disappointed with my Fitbit :(

I bought a Fitbit about 4 weeks ago and LOVED it! It didn't do the annoying things my other pedometers have done (i.e. counting steps while driving, counting steps when sitting but shifting in my seat etc.). However after a week of wearing the fitbit on my bra it fell off never to be seen again.
I emailed fibit and they have been WONDERFUL and replaced my lost fitbit, BUT the new fitbit counts every stinking movement I make!!! I counts steps (A ton) when I drive, shift in my seat or even hold the fitbit in my hand and "Tap" it gently on my other hand.
Fitbit has replaced the replacement and the 3rd one does the same thing as the 2nd one. I am so disappointed My original fitbit said I walked about 5,000 - 6,000 steps a day so at the end of the day I would walk around my house just to try to get to my goal of 10,000 step. The new ones say 11,000 steps a day and more.
The sensitive setting is set to normal, I wear it on my bra, I just can not think of anything else to do.
Any thoughts?
Katy

you can go into the settings and set the length of your stride, that way little movements aren't recorded.0

Well, I don't have a fit bit so this might be a stupid suggestion, but could you place it somewhere else? I know that my boobs tend to jiggle a bit more than the rest of me... lol. I don't even know what a fitbit looks like though so I don't know if changing placement is an option or would do you any good but that's all that I could think of!0

have you checked your stride calibration? Not sure if that might cause it but perhaps...?0

Log things like driving as an activity so you can discount the steps!0

I'm sorry that your not happy with your Fitbit. I have the Bodybugg....and I have had 2 of them. I love them....They might not 100% but I figure I have a pretty good idea of what I do in a day.
Good Luck.0 -
That stinks! I wear mine on my bra too without any problems. Try adjusting the stride like someone else said. I hope you get it figured out, I would be lost without mine.0
