Ok, anyone else in love with their HR monitor?! I just got one yesterday and used it today. I was so happy to see that I've been burn 2x's the amount of calories on my walks than I've been logging! I can't wait to do my 30 day shed to see what it says!

I bought one and now have to find the time to use it. I know lousy excuse, I will try using when I garden this week. I have a rather large garden this year. I have worn it walking and it works fine.

I have the polor F4. You first have to set up your age, height and weight (I'm 30, 5'5 and 137). Very easy to do. This helps to give you where your heart rate needs to be. It will beep if you are not in between those numbers. For me it's 124-164. If you go under or over, it beeps. (this helps me to push it a little more when working out) But you can turn the sound off if you want and the little heart will just flash. I was told the lower of those numbers, say 130-140, will burn fat first. The higher the number, 150-160, will burn carbs/sugar. It tracks date of work out, calories burned per work out, how long you worked out, the time you were "in zone" for your heart rate, avg HR, and Max HR. It's awesome because it stores each work out so you can compare. Then you can clear the data when you are done. I love it because I have been walking for a half an hour and when I log that walk for the exercise data base on here it says about 120 calories. Yesterday I wore my HR monitor and it was 225 calories for the same walk! That's a huge difference! I was about $90 with tax but I think you can get it cheaper on Ebay. I would HIGHLY recommend getting one.

They are cheaper on Ebay, you can get an F6 which is a step up from the F4 for about 85 dollars with shipping...im not sure what the differences are but i dont think they are much,,ive seen F4 go for like 50 on ebay (new in box) I am anxiously waiting for my bills to be caught up so I can buy one!!!
