Alternative Philosophy Students

Does anyone here take an interest or participate in the study of alternative philosophy? I'm currently reading through The Tree of Life by Israel Regardie, anyone else read this, opinions and thoughts on the matter? Would be nice to start a thread of intelligent conversation and expression of different philosophical ideas.

    every philosophy is an alternative to something.

    Alternative philosophy as in a category of philosophical studies that applies to the ideas concerning and/or relating to Occultism, Magick, ancient Egyptian philosophy and the study of spiritual science.

    Everything is an alternative to something.

    I took some classes with Anthony Aveni in college but I haven't pursued or read about it in years.

    He was good. Great since of humor and passionate. He was actually on staff as an Astrophysicist but was allowed what was then his pet project.
