Whats better.....

Is leg raises better then sit ups... Im not strong enough to do a full sit up.. And I have a very weak back.... So if anyone knows please let me know .. thanks

    leg raises target the lower abs more. you really shouldn't do a full "sit up" if you have neck/back problems... just a crunch is good. if you can feel it in your abs then it works.

    For your back you might also want to try doing a "plank" (yoga/pilates postion) or superman/swimming where you lay on your stomach and raise your arms and legs. Trainers always say to work opposing muscle groups, so whenever you work out your abs you should also do some excercises for your back (consult your doctor of course if you have a back injury though!!)
