Ok, so, I'm still dealing with one of my big issues... I'm great during the week, but if I'm going out on the weekend I will have too many drinks then when I get home at 2am I need food. And invariably, you don't make the best food choices after drinking at 2am!

I usully don't add up the calories cause I think I knew what would happen I'd see tons of them. Well, today I did...

Saturday, I went to the movies and had just a few handfuls of movie popcorn(with butter of course) had a few milk duds. The we went out to diner and while I only ate half I did have a very nice microbrew.

Then a glass of wine before going out to the bar, then 3 more glasses of wine at the bar. Add on top of that eating when I got home.

Needless to say, after inputing everything.... IT WAS ALMOST 4,000 CALORIES!!!

Ok, I knew It was putting me over but that far! I had no idea!

This was a good lesson for me. I work so hard all week staying healthy and working out that it's really not worth one night of going out or one day of being "off my diet'.

I'll still have meals with things that may not be the healthiest, and I'll still go out, but I'm just going to keep moderation much more in mind.

Ok boys and girls, that's my lesson for the day...

been there and done that -- more than once right down to the logging it in my diary and being ashamed that I was that stupid to lie to myself. I hate head games!

I hope you still go out and enjoy your life though.

You can still drink a couple of glasses of wine and make very good dinner choices when you go out.

And if you know you are going to be hungry after an amazing night out on the town, be prepared. Stick some bars in your bag and eat it on the way home.

I know that when I drink a lot, the first thing I do is drink what feels liek a gallon of water and pop some Tylenol.

You better be full by then :drinker:
