Thanks for the heads up! Is a HRM bulky to wear/use? Could you wear it throughout the day without it being obvious/uncomfortable/unpractical? What do you like about having yours? I really need to research them!0

The chest strap is amazingly comfortable and unnoticeable under clothing even the stretchy tight clothing. I love that I can accurately measure how many calories I burn...it keeps me both motivate amd disciplined. I would guesstimate before HRM or use the pre-set calories on this site and others and many times for me it was inaccurate. I began loosing after HRM.0

Thanks for the heads up! :flowerforyou:
Does it count the calories that you burn while exercising? It's not clear on the website if it does or not.0 -
yes it count's calories burned during excercise and the % of fat burned and some other stuff that I've not delved into yet. I use it for calories burned only. You program a user profile with gender, age, maximum heart rate, weight , height and activity level, very simple to do.0

Wow, i've been looking at HRMs for a while, bought one- didn't like it, and returned it. haven't found many that seem to be any good for this cheap- thanks... I'll take your word for it!0

grrr!:explode: I just bought one on ebay this weekend!!! Wish I would have known!0

OHHHH Thank you so very much !!!! I just purchased one thanks to your post. I was looking at them on Ebay and am so glad I didn't buy one there. I think that sites description is hilarious. I hope it gets to me quickly. I had a Polar and it broke. I bought a cheap watch thing .You have to constantly be pushing a button on the watch to get your heart rate. I think it's wildly inacurate. Thanks again- Cindy0

Got mine today - and was dismayed to learn my treadmill was way overestimating my calories burned. At least now I know and can adjust my food.0

Mine is supposedly coming on Wednesday. I *feel* like I'm burning more calories doing couch to 5k than MFP gives me credit for... we'll see! :bigsmile:0
