Hi people

Just wondered if anyone has used both versions of the MFP app? I'm looking to change my iPhone for an Android phone and I wondered if it's much different and also if one is better than the other.

Thanks :)

I've only used the Android Version(as it's the first smart phone I've owned) but I like it a lot.

Obviously I can't compare it for you, but I think it's easy to use and navigate. I would assume they wouldn't be much different... but then again, I don't know what features Iphone has that the android one doesn't.

Thanks for the reply. I think the reason I was concerned is that I'd seen a lot of posts about the Android app going down but I haven't seen any for a while so I just wondered. If you think it's easy to use I'm sure it's very similar to the iPhone version. I also intend to get my hubby to download it on his Android phone so I can test it out.

MY MFP android app has never gone down.
I have uised it since January.
    Android app has
pic chart for daily and weekly fat/carb/protein
weekly bar chart showing daily calorie intake with red line showing goal
daily and weeklly nutrition lable (like on a box of food % Vitamin A, C, pottassium etc.)
multi add feature for adding food
The only thing I cannot find is a way to access this forum from app, but I have forum saved in my browser,

    Hi -

i have both versions, one on my iPod and one on my phone. Both are pretty similar just a few differences as far as navigating around is concerned. The only huge difference I've seen between both are that I can see my friends food diaries on the iPod one and not on my Droid when it posts a message in my feed saying they've completed their day. There may be a way to view it, I just don't pull the app up on my Droid much - usually stick with my iPod.

I have an android. It works great for capturing daily intake and scanning barcodes. If I've replying to forums, I always do it through my laptop.
