Dieting yet gaining weight?!

Ok, so according to my BMI, I am overweight, and it's time to do something about it.
I've been a good girl for the past few months, I worked out a fair bit. I didn't pay attention to what I ate as I thought I was burning the calories by jogging.
But I have gained an extra few kilos, so 10 days ago, I joined my Fitness Pal. I've been carefully weighing everything I've eaten for the past 10 days, proudly adding my cardiovascular activity too.
Basically, I expected to loose 500 grams within these 10 days, but I gained a kilo!
I'm loosing motivation instead of weight now. Please, give me some motivation or I am going to buy 3 packets of Peanut M&Ms tomorrow and have them for breakfast.

 Don't buy the M&M's!
Sometimes it takes a little while to see or actually lose the weight. I am slowly losing the weight, it doesn't happen in an instance, and there have been times where I gain a little and lose a little. Be sure to weigh yourself at the same time, everytime you weigh yourself.
Don't get discouraged! You can do this, it just takes time. :flowerforyou:0 -
thanks, I know it's silly of me, but these 10 days have been really difficult, and gaining instead of loosing was very annoying! I've given myself another 10 days to loose 500 grams.0

Step away from the M & M's. That's it, one step at a time, back away slowly and nobody gets hurt.0

LOL, thank you Leslisa. I found the perfect solution: I went shopping for new running clothes to keep me motivated. Of course, that means I spent a little more than what I would have on 3 packets of M&Ms, and I feel a different kind of guilt... Oh, the joys of being a woman!0
