Exercise - am i doing enough?

I am new to MFP and i'm already starting to feel better about myself after 9 days.

But i'm wondering if what i am doing is going to be effective and will I start to see results?

I have an allowance of 1200 carlories per day, i have been under slightly and over slightly, i tend to eat the same sort of foods; soups; jacket potatoes, stir frys, cereal...

with regards to exercise i am trying to exercise 4 or even 5 times a week. I will either go to the gym and do 45mins-1 hour of cardio and if i can't get to the gym i will do a legs bums and tums fitness DVD that is half an hour long. Is this enough exercise or should i be doing more or should i be doing it any different?

Any help and advice appreciated :)

    Greetings. You seem to be doing everything right though I would suggest you try and do some strength training along with cardio as lean muscle burns more calories at rest than fat

    You should check out HIIT...that burns more fat than 45minutes to an hour of cardio. I also agree, add in some weight lifting!

    Your workouts sound great. I would only suggest that you eat back your exercise calories.
