I am finishing up week 6 of turbo fire. I am 218lbs and in the past month have seen little to no difference on the scale. Has anyone else experienced this? Did it pick up by month 3? What did you do to get over this hump?

As far as my calories consumed it varies, a few days I consume less and generally on weekends I may go over on one of the days. I set up my goals to lose 1.5 lbs per week and thus MFP set my net calories to 1330 and yes I generally eat my exercise calories. Please help!

I had only lost 1.5lbs in the first 60 days -- but I've lost another 3.5lbs in the last 30 days. Push through and you'll see great results between day 60 and 90, I bet ya!!

@kaylou -- MFP already puts in a deficit in your goal, if you don't eat your exercise cals then you are doubling the deficit and being extremely unhealthy.

@the OP -- I did turbofire for ~90 days and saw a loss of about 9 lbs. The bigger improvement was in inches. You should make sure to take before and after photos and measurements. Also make sure to appreciate the improvements in strength and endurance that you have :)

Also, 1330 is too low calories for turbo fire. You will lose more weight if you eat more. Calculate how many cals you should be eating here:

Thank you all for you comments. I guess I was expecting to see a significant drop on the scale since I am heavier. I've definitely noticed a difference in the way my clothes fit and am now in jeans that I bought a size too small (on purpose) a year ago. The compliments have also been nice to hear, but then they ask that dreaded question (How much have you lost so far?) and I'm like not much :-/.

I'm definitely not giving up on the program, I am halfway through it and I enjoy it.

Ok so based on those calculations my calories should be 2269/2560 or 1969/2260 to lose weight. I'll up my calories to see if that works.

If people (including you!) are noticing, then don't let the scale bring you down. Isn't it better to weigh more on the scale, but have people notice? I expect that's more comfortable than nobody noticing, but the scale being down... you don't want to carry the scale around to show that you've lost... your body should speak for itself! ;)

You're doing great, and you're making great progress. The scale will move when it's ready, but for now TF is getting your body into tip top shape!

Ditto the measurements, you'll see it there most.
