Weight loss plateau

Hi for those of you that have been doing the weight loss for a while and have hit a plateau, could you please share with me the fastest way you got out of it..l I read online that once you hit the plateau, you are stuck in it a minimum of 4 weeks... Is that true?
I work out 6 days a week... Not sure if I can fit in more exercise...and my calorie intake is usually pretty low... I haven't counted my exercise towards my calorie Intake... Maybe that could be the issue... Maybe I'm eating too few calories with my exercise...
But please share what worked for you :)

    I think you hit the nail on the head. What is your height, weight, and current calorie intake? 6 days a week is a MAD amount of exercise, what does your exercise routine look like?

    Up your calorie intake. It might sound a little scary, but it did work for me! :D
