Anybody out there near Orlando? We're heading there next week and the long range forecast is for thunder storms. I'm praying that doesn't mean rain and need some firsthand info on what to expect from the weather...

    It's Florida. It's a tropical climate. Except in periods of drought, you're pretty much looking at daily thunderstorms (yes, that means rain) from April to September.

    If you're lucky, you'll have dry mornings, an hour or so of rain and then a cooler, dry afternoon, though.
