FreeMotion Cross Cable Machine Users

Does anybody else use this machine frequently at the gym? I was busting my butt all winter doing 30-45 min on the elliptical but not lifting. I lost maybe 4 lbs but that's it. About a week ago I discovered the FreeMotion Cross Cable machine at my gym after seeing a trainer use it with his clients. I LOVE it! I feel like I get a great workout, I sweat and my heart rate is up. I am hoping to see results using this 3xs a week mixed in with a bit of cardio during my workout. Do you think that will work or do I need to still do running/elliptical too? I fit my workouts in during my lunch hour so I don't have a lot of time.
