Does anyone else have this problem? I love tuna, and enjoy the protein. The problem I have though, is the smell. The empty can really smells after I empty out the tuna, and only gets worse the next day. Any ideas?

I've seen people rinse the can before they put it in the garbage... of course, knowing the OP, he actually wasn't serious anyway. :drinker:0

Have you checked her text messages?0

baking soda, put some in the can (after you have washed with soap and dried it. if thats too much work then toss them outside in a recycle bin right away. I know someone that stores empy cans in a freezer untill garbage day. or you can be like my coworker and bring the can to work and toss it out there.0

Just rinse the can out in the sink before you throw it away.
Actually I have an extra step that I do. I let the dog and cat clean out the can, then I rinse it, then toss it.0

Sounds like better hygeine is warranted.0

I tried licking the cans, but was getting cut up. I think I'll try the freezer idea.0

You could smear some peanut butter on first. Dogs love it, and lick like crazy!

Put potpourri in the empty cans and then place them around the house. It's a good thing.0

I like to put them in with the dirty clothes - especially my pants and undies - and let them marinate for a couple of days before dropping them off at my ex husband's.
 I'm a sweetheart like that.0

Put it under the desk of the co-worker that sits the furthest away from you.0

If pineapple makes it smell/taste sweet, what did you think tuna would do?
Fish sausage, instead of fish taco... NICE0

Fill them with pickle juice and leave them on the counter for a few days before throwing them out.0

You should maybe consider growing your own tuna at home in a pool in your backyard or basement. They're friendly as far as fish go!
+ you'll have a much better idea of what you're really putting in your body & where it came from... probably something you SHOULD be doing anyway for you
 AND NO CANS!! 0 0

Place the can under the driver's seat of a not so good friends car. Works best when the temp is above 90 degrees.0

Quit spreading your tuna around the office! Very unprofessional.

Usually if you keep it clean, tuna doesn't smell.0
