Please help me put this all together in a simple format that works.....
Here's my story in a nut shell I started out on WW last August and did very well, 36.5 lbs. down. Then things started slowing down, so I decided to try some thing different, MFP. Did extremely well the first week 4.5 lbs. down on my 1200 calories. I eat back most of my exercise calories . The following week I stayed the same, the next week down a pound, the next the same, the next down .4. Not complaining, but I'm so close to my first MAJOR goal of breaking the 150 barrier. So I started lifting. The strength 5x5 program a week ago, so I'm expecting a weight gain around 2 pounds(water weight). I'm a 54 women who's been battling my weight most of my adult life. I started at 196.6 and today I'm at 152.4. I'm 5'6", have a desk job and excercise 5-6 days a week, usually an hour. Mondays is Zumba, T-TH-SAT is lifting with 30 minutes of cardio(treadmill/eliptical) somedays I throw in a DVD the Firm total body fitness. Somedays I run/jog. I read so much conflicting/confusing information my head is spinning. What can I do to maximize my program to get fit? Am I eating enough? I still have at least 10 lbs. to go and ALOT of firming and toning. The damage I've done to my body I fear is not repairable but I can lead a more healthy and fit life style.
Thanks in advance for any help.
