Question

I am currently doing Sweatin To the Oldies w/Richard Simmons. While this is a great workout, I would also like to incorporate the treadmill into my routine. I haven't been on it since I lost the 24lbs so I am not sure what I am capable of doing on it, (running or walking). I always just walked at a REALLY SLOW PACE before for only like 30 minutes. My question is, which should I do first, the treadmill or the workout video? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

it really depends....first off, are you really tired or wore out after the video? if so, you might just want to incorporate it by alternating days. You shouldnt do too much at one time. It can have a negative effect. If you have time, and want to do it in one day try doing 1 in the morning and the other later in the evening.
That way you have time in between. Otherwise i would do the treadmill first b/c it will be a good warmup for the video. I remember those videos and they can get you moving hard and strong so by the end you have really gotten your heart rate up. Good luck!

personally, I would think it doesn't matter since they are both cardio anyway. What ever one you think you can do and still have energy for the other after would be what I would do first.

I would recommend the treadmill as a warm up to the oldies. A prelim to your more intense cardio.
