A personal tragedy... eating back calories!

My car didn't come with a spare tire, it came with an air pump and a can of fix a flat. (I kid you not!)
What's funny is that the 1st thing I did was grab the bike pump (forgot to add THAT workout) and after that made very little difference, I wanted to head to the corner gas station for a can of fix-a-flat!
Great minds, etc etc.
But, in the end, the donut went on instead...
It's the donut that gave me the spare tire!
(An unintentional pun, I assure you...)0 -

I've been on here for 55 days - therefore I have been hungry for 55 days straight and sore from working out on the non-stop 30 day shred.
I wish I had your problem. :flowerforyou:
Now go have a margarita or some Bailey's in hot chocolate and think of all of us poor starving folks... hahahaha0 -
Cheers!

Holy moses, I hear you. I started on "Ripped in 30" and this new JM DVD was the 30 day shred - I jumped right in on Stage 2 and my first thought was, "Hey, this is just like Ripped in 30, only weaker!"
And this afternoon, I can hardly walk. Zow.0 -
By the looks of Dairy Queen's menu, I wish I had a flat every day.0
-
Can I just be jealous instead of pity you?0

After losing 100 pounds and keeping it off for 5 years, I joined mfp to try to lose the last 30 or so. I burn huge amounts of calories biking. Like 1,000+ because I ride for a few hours at a time. I track it with a HRM. Following their whole "eat back your calories" principle I GAINED TWENTY freaking pounds in 6 months! After keeping it off for 5 years. Now I have the remaining 30 to lose, plus another 20 thanks to eating back my calories. Be careful with that. I had to go back to just eating when I'm hungry and stopping when I'm full and it averages out to around 1200 to 1500 calories a day depending on my activity, and its slowly coming back off.0

Sounds like the perfect night for a bottle of white wine to me!

The sad part is that as of the moment I leave work, until about bedtime, my time is not my own.
I guess I'll have to bank the calories and have a nice lunch tomorrow.
It's a happy ending, but not terribly Hollywood.0 -

Yeah! I'm of a mind to stab my wife's other three tires so I can pull off the same stunt tomorrow.0 -
