Starting over, again, looking for friends

Hi, I'm Brandi, I can't count how many times I've done this. Before I got married in 2007 I did the Turbo Jam work outs and lost 20+ lbs. In April of 2009 I had a baby girl and was at my highest maintained weight ever of 212lb. After many efforts on my own I tried the HCG diet. I got down to 187. A few month later I became pregnant with our second baby girl and had her in March this year. This time I'm wasting no time getting back into things. When she was just 2 weeks old I started the C25K program again. While this was helping me feel good, it wasn't helping much in the weight loss department. Last week I decided that I need to start tracking food again. It's helping already!
My problem is that I get discouraged easily and I'm an emotional eater. I'm looking for friends to help motivate me to my goal of 160lbs!. I'm down 3.4lbs in the last week and need to keep it going!

Welcome! It can be done and sounds like you are determined. Good for you. Step #1 stop having babies :-) kidding aside you will find lots of support here. Best of luck in meeting your goals!0

I will send you a friend request! I feel your pain. I have yo yo dieted ever since I had my first child in 1994. I would lose the weight and get pregnant again and then gain it all back. This is the longest I have ever stuck to something. Started exercising regularly back in November and I totally have that down but the eating thing has always been hard for me so I found this place and it has made it so much easier to log and track with the support of great people. Join me on my journey and let's do this together. I have about 50 lbs to lose!0

Welcome! I am a very emotional eater but I have found a lot of support on here and people with tips to help me stop and people who are also willing to let me vent which seems to help the most. Anyone feel free to add me, I mostly log on my iPhone so I don't get to the message boards as much as I would like but I am supportive of my friends of here and you can always vent to me.0

Welcome! You CAN do this and tracking helps to stop the mindless eating. Most women are emotional eaters and it's learning how to find something else productive to do that's hard! Feel free to add me
The more friends you have for support, the better you will do!

Next pregnancy keep working out, so that after baby comes, you don't have as long of a recovery to get back into good shape.
I too am an emotional eater. You can add me, I'll help as best I can. :happy:0 -
