Calorie help!!

I've lost 36lbs so far and I want to lose those last 10lbs which are the hardest obviously, but I seem to have come to a plateau.
I'm currently 9st, but I was 8st 10... this was before I went off track a little! But i'm usually 8st 10lbs

I usually try to eat about 1000 calories a day, but it says to lose weight and maintain my bmr I should be eating 1200 at least! I was wondering if I would actually lose weight by bumping up my calorie consumption or lose weight? Because I've been trying to lose the last 10lbs for about a year now and I'm getting tired and sick!
