I pack my children's lunch for school and they are harassed everyday by lunch monitors (the principle) about what they have not being a healthy acceptable lunch... So I had other issues I needed to address to them as well so here is the clip from the note I just emailed to the principle.....

My next concern is that your state and school want to promote “healthy kids” and my son was given a U in PE for not turning in a semester’s worth of “home fitness logs” (which irritates me because I was not made aware that this even existed until there was nothing I could do to fix it) and your school sees fit to send me concerns home regarding my daughter's weight and fitness abilities not meeting the standards ,telling me she is considered “obese” yet I pack their lunches every single day making sure I pack a fruit, carb, protein along with a healthy bottle of water and every now and then I put a special surprise in their lunch box to let them know mom loves them and you see fit to tell them 1 pc of dark chocolate is “unacceptable” I don’t feel it is anyone’s business what I pack in my child’s lunchbox which I think is far more healthier then the stuff provided by the school. Both of them have come home complaining that you are constantly looking in their lunches?? That really doesn’t sit well with me as a parent, again along with this and the checkout’s I feel my parenting is being questioned. YET I get an email today from the school letting me know about Teacher’s serving my kid’s a meal in MCDONALD’S?? The worst place in the universe for my children to eat and on top of that whichever class has the most participation will be rewarded with an ice cream party? Your intentions on raising funds for your school are good but contradicting given the above complaint I have.

I commented you for packing lunch. Most school lunches are little more than simple carbs. My daughter takes her lunch everyday, just as I did when I was in school...granted I was a vegan and back then there were no vegan options for me. I'm glad you took a stance as it seems the principal is an idiot.
