Best cat ever.

Okay, so this is kind of off topic, and leave now if you don't feel like reading about my cat for the next 90898978979798 hours, but I have to say, my cat is the most awesome thing ever.
Every night he works out with me. If I try to skip, he just keeps chasing the rope and getting smacked in the head. And when I'm on the treadmill or the bike, he gets it in his mouth, and walks over, and meows at me. Last night when I was on the bike, he got tired of waiting, tried to jump in my lap, slid all over the place and freaked right out.
Then, after I did a workout tape, I was doing the cool down, lying on my back, stretching out my arms and legs. He comes walking over, flops down, rolls onto his back and stretches out all his paws. I swear, he works out with me! Like he's trying to get in shape, too.
Tonight he even guilted me into putting my snack back and going to work out when I wasn't going to!
He heard me walk in the direction of the basement, where all the exercise equipment is, at the time of night I normally work out, and came running, all excited, tumbled down the stairs and sat on the landing meowing at me until I felt bad enough to put the food away and get changed into workout clothes.
Have I mentioned, best cat ever?

That is kind of funny...my dog's absolutely favorite room in the house is the basement. He gets so excited when we go down there. I am usually on the treadmill, but the kids play with him then.0

I loved your story. My cat is a fatty. He needs to work out with me. I'll have to see if I can get him to use my glider. :noway:0

He really is an awesome cat. I know because I have to bring his water bowl back across the kitchen floor after he has dragged it from hell's green acres back again. I've changed said bowl at least 5 times for heavier and heavier bowls and have put numerous objects under it to keep it from moving! Yes , awesome is a great word.
I am the mom, by the way.0
