"Homemade" Chicken Strip Salad calorie question.

I say "homemade" because the cafe I get these from has pretty much homemade items. I have to estimate the calories as they do not have any nutritional info.

As I prefer to slightly over-estimate my calorie intake while slightly under-estimating my calories burned, how do these numbers look for my salad...

Garden Salad with small amount of shredded carrots - about 4 cups (this is a big salad!)
One breaded chicken strip patty
1/2 cup or less of red onion
1/2 cup or less of diced tomato
About half a boiled egg (I use a whole one to be safe)
1/2 cup or less of shredded cheddar cheese
About 3 tbsp of Thousand Island dressing (could be made in the Cafe, I will have to ask)

Here is a screen shot of the nutritional guide I created at MFP.

Does that sound about right? This is a such a big, good tasting salad that if I eat for lunch, rarely am I hungry for the rest of the day.

Like I said, I would rather over-estimate but for those of you who eat a lot of salad, do you think the numbers fairly accurate?

How many ounces is the breaded chicken strip patty? does the half-boiled egg include the yolk?

To me, it seems high but that's definitely the way to go when you aren't sure what's in it.

The chicken patty is sliced up into strips. I would say no bigger than your typical frozen patty. I am horrible with weights so I would say less than 6oz. The egg has the yolk. I doubt it is a whole egg in the salad as it too is sliced. Calorie wise I included the whole boiled egg.

I just find it hard to believe such a large salad, which is mostly salad, has so few calories. I may need to eat this more often!

    I make a similar salad at home...but I use

    1 chicken patty
    2tbs of bbq sauce
    2tbs of light ranch
    1oz of cheeze
2 tbs of frenchs fried onions
    lots of lettuce

I think the total comes out to about 500 (give or take a bit) I don't remember exactly. I find it really yummy and make it a lot in the summer! So I would say your 600 isn't a bad guesstimate!
