What am I doing wrong?

I've been trying to commit to this eating healthy and exercise, but it's hard because I'm used to eating what I want when ever I want. Many people are telling me a lot of different things like I should be consuming 1500 - 2000 calories a day because I'm 17. Right know I'm doing about 1200-1300 and I've gained two pounds. I'm watching my calorie intake and my carb intake, I'm taking multi vitamins, and I have a protein shake after every workout. I run for 30 minutes on a treadmill and I'm slowly building up to 30 minutes on a stationary bike. (That thing is so difficult ). Then I do a combo of 130 sit-ups and side crunches .

Does anybody have any ideas or suggestions. It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I don't want to be another person telling you that you're not eating enough....BUT, you're not eating enough. You seem to be very active which is great, but being that active and still only consuming 1200-1300 calories per day just may not be enough for you! And also, are you drinking plenty of water? They reccomend 8, 8oz glasses but you should try to aim for atleast 10 in the summer heat, 13 if physicaly active, and 9 in the winter months!!! 8 glasses is just what you should be having at the minimum...but don't drink yourself sick  And another thing is to make sure that the calories you are eating are healthier options! Not saying that you are, it's just an example but it's healthier eating 200 calories of a lot of veggies, than 200 calories of 2 cookies! I'm not sure what's going on with your weight, but it seems like you're doing pretty good and having a keeping a healthy lifestyle...Keep up the good work!!! And also, I see you've joined in June!!! You should join the June starters! If you want more info about it just send me a message
