Costa Rica. The only international destination that I liked so much that I went twice. And I would go again in a heartbeat.0
-
Carolina Coast0
-
I second Costa Rica. It's a great place to visit.0
-
Cruises are my favorite vacation. You basically get a mobile hotel room, multiple places to see for the day and a 5-Star restaurant every night if you want it.

My favorite is the Salzburg-Passau-Munich area of Germany and Austria.0
-
A cruise to somewhere tropical.....a couple more months......0
-
I'm from England and even though I'm in Europe I haven't seen enough of it, so many countries I want to visit, everywhere is so different.0
-
I wasn't on vacation per se, but I really enjoyed some of the trips we took when I was stationed in Bavaria (Germany). Great food, and beautiful scenery. I would love to go back.0
-
Aruba is an AMAZING destination!0
-
I have a few favorites, Dominican Republic, Punta Cana and Jamacia are my favorites! Very warm and alot of dancing!!
Aruba is on my list, but ever time I want to go the pricing is very high!0 -
I'm not quite so advanced to travel abroad as some of these fine folks are able to do but anywhere on the beach is good enough for me!
2nd annual Girls Only Beach Vacation coming up this August & we're going down to Destin, Florida for a few days on the beach w/ NO KIDS ALLOWED!!! :bigsmile:0 -
Having been in the Navy I've travled all over and I would have to say I would love to take a vacation to Sydney. It was beautiful. As for something closer to home, I love Florida, particurlarly the Keys.....0
-
Belize - can't wait to get there in a few weeks!0
-
Orangeburg, SC0

Oh, it's hard to choose but here are some of my favourite spots:
- Central Australia
- Jordan - Petra of course, but everywhere else was amazing too
- Roatan, Honduras
- Varanassi, India
- Ningaloo Reef, Western Australia (beats the Great Barrier Reef in my opinion)
- Disneyland, US
If money and time were no problem, my next few holidays would be to
- Ankor Wat, Cambodia
- Sri Lanka
- Lallibella, Ethiopia
- Turkey (Capadocia, Instanbul and those amazing white waterfalls)
- Colombia (to see where my husband grew up)
- Tasmania, Australia
- Antartica
- Iceland
....and just about anywhere else. I can't think of anywhere I wouldn't want to go.0 -
Sanibel - Captiva FL.
Lake Winnipesaukee & Winnisquam NH. (where the movie "" On Golden Pond"" was filmed)
Costa Rica0 -
Ellsworth Maine... on Lake Graham AMAZING!!0
-
Playa Samara, Costa Rica.
I lived in Hawaii for 3 years on Oahu (where waikiki/ honolulu are) but prefer the islands of Kauai or Maui.
Ahhhh, vacation0 -
Cancun! Family, beach.... how could it get better0
-
Blowing Rock, North Carolina. Hiking, mountain climbing, zip lining, white water rafting, and gem mining! I love it! Heading back up there soon.
Second to that, a beach anywhere0 -
I love San Francisco (I was born there). Hawaii is ok if you don't mind the crowds. I had a blast in Chicago. It is a fun city.0
-
Jamaica was my absolute favorite vacation.
If you're looking for cheaper and super fun - Las Vegas0 -
Costa Rica has been my favorite as of recent (Feb 2010). Zip Lining, rainforest, monkeys, all-inclusive...
Hawaii - Big Island, Kona Village (Sept 2006, honeymoon). Unfortunately the entire resort got destroyed in the tsunami... Maui was fun too, more adventurous versus Kona being all relaxation.
I live in Colorado though so almost every weekend is a mini-vacation for me
Grew up in Chicago, agree that it's a fun city. Plan your visit around if you would rather have the humidity and heat OR sub-zero can't-breathe-temps There is more to do in the Spring/Summer/Fall obviously...0 -
Coming from someone who went on a 6 week vacation, I was in Asia.
This was from Boracay, Philippines and I absolutely loved it! Beautiful water and everything was dirty cheap. After coming to this beach, I can't go anywhere else except for the top beaches in the world "category". (Too lazy to resize)
Bora Bora on the other hand is on my list of places and might be saving that one for a special occasion

This summer I went to Cuzco - Peru to visit Macchu Picchu.
Must say it was one of the most wornderful places I've ever seen, I would go back over and over again. It's magical0 -
Cozumel ~ we go twice a year to scuba dive.0

Cook islands0
