1.4 lbs in one day?

I am curious how this works or why it is. Due to a long distance bike ride yesterday that resulted in a forgotten tire pump and blown tire, I wound up having a 2,163 calorie deficit yesterday, comprised of strength training in the morning then a longer bike ride followed by a jog and long walk home.
Anyway, my question is, 3,500 calories = 1 pound. My weight from yesterday morning to this morning dropped 1.4 pounds. How does this work? I had a 2,163 calorie deficit which should put me at a 0.618 pound loss, no? I drank 11 cups of water yesterday and was not dehydrated at all, i.e. water weight lost.
Thanks for any explanation.

Weigh yourself before and after going to the bathroom. You would be surprised how much a good, healthy dump can weigh.0
