Goodbye old friend, I’ll never forget the evenings we whiled away in each other’s company. You weren’t my first, but you were my longest-lasting. I regret that things turned stale – you could offer me nothing new and my head was turned by another who could. Eventually I couldn’t even bring myself to turn you on any more. In the end you were worthless, but who would have thought the games you played would be so precious to me?

Farewell PlayStation 2, it’s been emotional.
