Total calories = all the calories consumed
net calories = calories consumed - calories burned by exercise0 -
Net calories = Total calories consumed - calories burned from exercise.
You can see it clearly by going to My Home>>Goals. Carefully review the info on the right side of the screen.0 -
NET is what you SHOULD be eating each day and you should plan it accordingly to eat what MFP is giving you each day. I wouldn't eat when you're not hungry of course and no if you don't meet your **1200 (example of calories) here and there and don't always eat back exercise calories you WILL NOT automatically go into 'Starvation Mode'.0

So my net calories would be 1300 a day. Is that enough to lose ? My net was 1050 and the scale would not move? Fitness pal advise 1450 a day. I need to lose 10 pounds having a very hard time getting in 1450 calories.0
