P90X and nutrition

I just started P90X and am trying to "dial in" my nutrition. Is anyone else doing P90X and what are you doing for nutrition?

    A lot of protein - chicken, tuna, lean ground beef, fish, eggs - protein shakes ( 2-3 daily )

    lots of veggies and fruit - fresh,

    some whole breads and pasta but not much

    lots of water

    my only treat- 1-2 hot coffees per day!!!

    The program comes with a diet plan that you can follow or use as a reference. My husband and I are following the "Lean" version of P90X. We're just trying to eat clean and make smart choices. I allow myself more treats than I probably should but I like food so I don't think I could be as dedicated with the diet. Following the recommended diet will get you better results though. Good luck!
