New runners in Northern GA??

Are there any new runners in the Acworth, Kennesaw, Woodstock area running the Woodstock Freedom Run on the 4th of July? I'm new at running and really enjoying it. A friend of mine signed me up for the Woodstock Freedom Run 5k and would really like to have someone to train with. Even if you are not running the race but would like to train please let me know.
