Heyy I've been trying to lose weight for a very long time now, almost a year. I think I've been overeating in the sense that I eat too big of a portion or too many calories in total during the day. According to this website, I'm supposed to have 1350 calories per day. Does anyone know of any tips that I can use to get fuller faster and eat less calories? Also, does anyone know of any good websites where I can look up how many calories are in certain foods?

Thanks in advance!!

There are a lot of foods listed on this site, but for a backup site I also use this one: http://www.nutritiondata.com/facts/dairy-and-egg-products/111/2

As far as getting fuller faster........I eat slower.

Eat less more often ... I eat at least 5 times a day... that's whats been working for me
  • Fiber and protein are both helpful for feeling full. I make sure to include fiber and protein in every meal and snack. Avoiding processed/simple carbs will help regulate insulin production and therefore help you feel fuller longer. Also, dehydration can signal feelings of hunger, so make sure you are drinking water throughout the day.

If you are eating complex carbs, protein, and fiber, and still feel hungry, then you may want to consider adding more calories to your diet...
