Hello everyone. I am starting a new thread for people who are new or experts at MFP. I am fairly new to this but i am highly motivated. My goal is to start a thread of motivational and uplifting individuals that will help each other through this "DIFFICULT" journey of weight loss/ healthy lifestyle.

My name is Malvina and I started my journey on june 8, 2009 @ 222lbs

Current weight- 219
Goal1- 200lbs by end of August '09
Goal2- 172-175 by end of December '09

Hope you become interested no matter what your goal weight is. The KEY is to HELP & GUIDE each other in this new lifestyle. Best wishes and THANK YOU for reading my post!!

    You can do it for sure, Malvina. We all start out with small steps and small numbers and before you know it, those numbers are big. Each pound lost encourages us for the next one. I also am fairly new at this and find it really helps to log in what I am going to eat BEFORE I eat. That keeps me in line with my 1200 cals a day. I started April 22 with a goal to lose 40 lbs. I have 20 left to go and want that off before mid Sept. Congrats on your first 2 lbs and may you lose many more.
