Swelling Foot.

Having pain in my foot has not been an issue until recently. Yes, I just started going back to the gym, but it's not anything outrageous. I work on my feet all day, so that does not help. I can't help but think it's a bone spur, but maybe I'm wrong? My foot is swollen as all get it, I cannot put any pressure on it, cannot roll my ankle or foot, and the pain shoots up my leg [below knee] and to my toes. Is this common for a bone spur? This is all new to me.

I don't know if what you have is common for a bone spur, but it does sound like what my Aunt has, which is a bone spur. You might want to see your regular physician and he/she might refer you to specialist. If it doesn't go away after a week or so I would definitely see your doctor especially since you have to be on your feet all day. You also might want to try different shoes too. My feet were hurting me when I starting going back to gym and once I got some new shoes it was much better.

If it's a burning, tickling sensation in one spot, then you may have what I have - a pain in the @ss bone spur. It hurts like a mother sometimes. I have to wear a brace when it gets really bad. Go see a podiatrist if it persists.
