How to get over my plateau????

The pass 2 weeks I've been sick, but ready to get back to the gym this up coming week and was wondering how to break this plateau. I am half way to my goal weight and really would like to start losing again. I normally do the amt machine 45minutes some days I do the elipticall 45 minutes, I walk on the treadmill and also started jogging.do you think if I switch it up and do the arc trainer it would help? What about the rowing machine? I really would like to lose at least another 12lbs before the beginning of Aug. I also went from 1200 calories to 1400 calories a day.

    Hey Lady, I too am having problems losing weight. I decided to meet with a personal trainer. She mentioned to me that cardio alone (and watching what you eat) is not the answer. She told me to start incorporating strength training to my cardio routine. This week I started taking her Total Body Sculpt class that is 95% strength training. I weigh in next week and will keep you posted. I hope this helps.
