I just started "running"
I alternate 3 minutes run/walk and go just over 2 miles
Yesterday I wanted to either;
1) Beat my record for 2 miles
2) Change it up and sprint 1 minute/ walk 3 minutes
3) make it 2.5 miles even if I am slower
I did not do any of these. Slowest time yet and only made it my usual distance.
But I decided to consider it a victory because:
I went.
I went running instead of going home and sitting on the couch

Your positive attitude is what makes you successful! Great job! Running is a gradual thing anyway. I just started myself in January and it IS a victory just to go!0
