In need of some motivation / support

Hello -

I have been on here for a while but in a serious way since the beginning of the new year. I had done a great job and lost some weight (22lbs) and it seems that my fire has burnt out even though I don't want it too!!!

This past week I have been busting my butt in the gym every day, but I'm just not able to say no to the temptations of food like I used too. I don't know what to do to get back on track. I KNOW its bad and wrong of me when I eat - and I feel horrible when I stop. It's not even a good feeling while I'm eating. I know there's more too it (stress/emotional eating etc) but I just need a jump start...

or maybe I'm just meant to be this way?!? :ohwell:

You've come this far and have done an awesome job. Just get yourself back on track and push yourself away from those bad foods, workout your stress seems to help me :) Have faith that you can and will :)

I know how you feel. I'll be super motivated and on top of things and making great progress, and then something throws me off (like being sick and moving to a new apartment, which is what's going on with me right now) and I eat all the things I used to, things I haven't even be seriously tempted by for ages. Sometimes I need those few days, and then I am able to hit it hard again. Being disciplined about logging even my bad food choices on here has definitely get back on track more quickly when I have derailed.

I am totally understanding where you are coming from! I wish I had an easy answer for you!

I found myself crying at the dinner table last night as I was eating my salad, I like you, am working out long and hard and don't seem to be going any where.

I am just trying to keep faith and hope that eventually something will give.

    GOOD LUCK!

Maybe ur just eating a lot less then u should be or not the foods that'll fill u up. Try changing up ur diet every now and then and soon the bad days are gonna get less and less. Every now and then it happens to everyone but just make sure u try to go back to ur eating regime the next day or as soon as u get that realisation

I agree with you totally. I am kind of finding myself in the same boat for about a week now. I have lost 20 lbs and I am going for another 10, but lately I just can't get away from those tempting foods and I find myself snagging some every once in awhile. I know not to starve myself of them, so I would have just a little to curb the craving, but lately I seem to want them more and more. I am still working out to the best of my ability (full time job, mom to 3 boys, etc), but it seems like it is getting harder and not easier. I feel as though I am losing my willpower and strength to move forward and kick off those extra 10 lbs!! Arghhh!!
