Hi All,
Just joined today because I really need the motivation to be honest.
Long story but just over a year ago I have around 126lb 5'4" was really healthy and excercised daily.
Fast forward a year and I've put on a stone due to a few reasons. I got IBS & GERD pretty bad which I now have under control thankfully but it literally stopped me form being able to excercise for ages. When i did make the effort to do it it to be 2 good days then not able for another week.
My eating habits were all over the place to due to health problems. On top of that I have given up smoking....good thing I know but I don't think that has helped with the weight gain.
So today is day 1. I keep saying I have to get back on track but think the real realisation is that the weather has got really nice and I feel totally uncomfortable with my body and wearing summer clothes. I've never been this size and totally dislike my body. I know I'm not huge but I just don't feel me and have lost confidence in myself because of it.
So I really want to change it and stop making excuses.
Plus I'm getting married in a year and don't want to be feeling like this in the run up to it.
Have a planned weekend away at the end of June with friends and my Fiance amd I would love to be back to 126lb by then.
Is that achievable....?
Hitting the gym again from tomorrow, aiming for 5 days aweek. I love weights so getting stuck back into that. I walk to and from work everyday so that's another 40mins walk. The hopefully getting out cycling at the weekend too.
I am aiming for 1200cals a day, I always have porridge for breakfast, healthy lunch and fruit. Dinners I'm pretty good too my down fall is wanting to snack at night time. Got into a terrible habit, think I've substituted smoking for snacking :-(
So any tips for me guys? 14lb in 7 weeks......? Can I do it?
