33/27/34 so I think I'm a rectangle.
Hour Glass sounds so much better!0 -
Apparently I am a spoon!0

i believe im an inverted triangle? that or a very undefined hourglass. i wonder if this has anything to do with the fact that im breastfeeding?0
-
I'm a spoon, I guess. I have a lot on top for a spoon. Maybe one of those decorative ladles or something with a weird handle? I have like 4 inches less boob than hip, but it is a lottoboob.0
-
bump for later when I get a tape measure... pretty sure I am an hourglass tho.0
-
im unsure really im either a triangle or hour glass0

I'm a rectangle! i knew that though
smh...damn...me too lol0 -
My shape isn't here or maybe I didn't calculate it right
My bust is 38 my waist is 29 and my hips are 41 (spoon maybe?)0 -
triangle0
-

Rectangular but don't agree with it. My hips and bust are 36...I'm curvy, but to be considered an hour glass figure my waist would have to be less than 27. Think there's too much deviation there. Would have thought 36-30-36 would be an hour glass....what do I know.
Yeah, I like the guidelines that are ratios like this:
Follow these simple steps to determine your body shape:
Start by changing into your best bra and underwear. Making sure the bra is fitted properly. Having a properly fitted bra will help give accurate measurements.
With a measuring tape measure the bust, waist, and hips. Keep the measuring tape firm against the skin (not too tight but not too loose either) and keep it parallel with the floor. It may be helpful to have a friend or loved one help to make sure the measurements are accurate. Write down the number so that the information will be correct.
Measure the bust at the fullest part of the breast line keeping the measuring tape straight across the back.
Measure the waist at the narrowest part of the waist line, this is usually at or slightly above the belly button. Feel for the natural curve of the waist at your side.
Measure the hips at the fullest part of the bottom, around the curve of the hips, again make sure to keep the measuring tape straight across.
Now for some simple math to determine your body shape:
Divide the hip number by the waist number. (hip/waist)
Divide the bust number by the waist number. (bust/waist)
Divide the waist number by the hip number. (waist/hip)
Divide the waist number by the bust number. (waist/bust)
With your numbers, figure out your body type.
Middle Figured shape, also known as Apple shape: If your waist/hip and waist/bust ratio is greater than .75 you are considered an apple. The apple body shape usually have average size breast, a larger belly and a flat butt.
Lower Figured shape, also known as Pear shape: If your hip/waist is greater than 1.25 and your waist/bust is greater than .75. Pear shapes usually have small breast, long waist, a flat tummy,
Hour-glass body shape: If your hip and bust measures within two inches of each other or your waist/hip and waist/bust ratio is less than .75 you have an hour-glass body shape. The hour-glass body shape is considered to be the ideal or perfect body shape. An hour-glass usually has large breasts, short small waist, big hips and large thighs.
Linear shape, also known as a Column shape: Linear shapes are lean with long legs and the shoulder width is equal to the hip width, think model. If your waist/hip and waist/bust ratio is greater than .75 or your hips and bust are the same.
Upper Figured shape: If your bust/waist ratio is greater than 1.25 or a waist/hip greater than .75, your upper body dominates your stature. This can be known as a strawberry or goblet shape. Usually the breasts are large with broad shoulders with a small or no waist and narrow hips.0 -

hmmmm...I think I'd be an hour glass according to this but I'm surely not. I mean yes my hips and chest are roughly the same but my waist isn't much different.0 -
I guess a rectangle...0
-
Spoon for now...but will be hourglass soon
lol me too0 -
Spooon definitely. 32-26-350
-
I don't even have to measure. I can look in the mirror. Hourglass. My curves are definitely defined and do look like an hourglass. Just need to get the fat off of 'em.0

Spoon for now...but will be hourglass soon
lol me too
Can you change your shape? I mean, if you're a spoon now, can you change it to hourglass? Or would you just be a smaller spoon? I thought it had to do with bone structure, too. Am I wrong?0 -
I am hourglass.0
-
Either an hourglass or spoon? I don't quite fit either...my waist to bust difference isn't a spoon, and I'm not the same top and bottom...I'm a lop-sided hourglass
38-28-400 -
Im much more of a coke bottle LOL
I think there is 5inch difference between my hips and bust - however - my waist is 12 inches smaller than my hips0 -
Hourglass~0

My shape changed when I lost weight. I was an apple/rectangle before, then I was a spoon (lost my first round of weight in my upper body) then my belly shrunk. It really depends on your genetics though. Sadly, you can't target fat loss. It just comes off where it's going to come off.0
