Angel Hair pasta with marinara 2 cups for 140 cals.
Yes you heard that right Serving 2 cups sauce and pasta for actually less then 140 cals, 100-140 cal depending on brands you use.
Mine was 274 calories for 4 cups. Very simple and can be made in under 10 minutes! Recipe as follows:
1/2 cup diced onion
1 Tbsp minced garlic (fresh or in water)
Hungry Girl - Tofu Shiratake Noodles, 8 ounces-1 pkg
1 can All Natural Italian Diced Tomatoes, 1 container (I used Great Value)
Contadina - Tomato Paste With Roasted Garlic , 2 Tbsp
1/2 Cup Ragu Light Tomato & Basil
In medium to Large Skillet over med-high heat sautee onion and garlic (use a quick spray of non-stick cooking spray) for 2-3 minutes. While cooking onion and garlic, rinse shiratake noodles with hot water at least 1 minute then strain well add to onion and garlic. Cook 1 minute, add diced tomatoes and paste. Cook another 1-2 minutes and add Ragu (or other spagetti sauce). Continue to cook till sauce slightly thickened and serve. Cook and Prep time 10 minutes or less. Makes 2-2 Cup servings:
(Fat-1.5 grams Protien-6.5 grams Fiber: 6 grams Carbs: 25 grams per serving)
I have considered shredding fat free mozzarela over the top and broiling till melted but have not tried yet. Enjoy!
