plateau- need help!

I have been on MFP for the past 9 months- i lost 31 pounds so far =) with a steady decline.

The past 2 months I have been stuck at 135-137 i workout 5-7 times a week including yoga- water intake has been low the past few weeks but other than that most things are the same- my calorie intake is usually about 1200-1300 a day and i dont eat my exercise calories- i gave up a high calorie morning drink which i thought would help kick start me but nada
thoughts? ideas? suggestions??

Your body is doing what every body does it adjusts it's metabolism downward to survive off the low calories you're supplying it. The longer you do this the worse it gets. It's a common mistake that most (including myself) make in our weight loss journey, eating way to little to sustain healthy loss for the long term. The only way to increase your metabolism is to eat more, or gain muscle mass(which isnt going to happen in your state). If you want more info on this issue check out the "eat more to weigh less" group on MFP. There's tons of good info on how to eat the correct amount and why. I myself am in the same boat, my weight loss has hit a screaching halt and I have upped my calories alot and I feel a ton better, my workouts are better and I am losing. It's a long process and remember fast weight loss=fast regain.

The first twenty of mine fell off with just counting calories... Then I started working out and it stalled.......for a month.. Nothing moved.... So I upped my calories and cut back on the workouts and the weight has begun to drop again....

I had a 3 month p,ateau and I had to get crazyvwith my intake
Some days I stuck to 1200 other days 1500
After a week or two of changing the intake on a daily basis I started to lose and went back to what I was doing prior to it

    Good luck

i am really loosing motivation- i tired upping for a week and a half- weight came up-
tried zig zagging and that did not seem to help much either
i know i have been eating a few too many sugars (that is usually the only one i go over with) so i tried cutting that down too-
i feel like i am not getting anywhere! and it is gettng me down
fitness instructor today said that muscle weighs nmore as it is denser- i get it- but i dont have to like it!!!

Is your body changing in any ways? Clothes fit better, waste smaller, anything?

I'm guessing you're close to goal and might be mistracking something? If not, I think you need to wait it out. It'll happen. If you feel good at your intake level you probably don't need to increase it. What's the rush to get lower? It's not like when we get "there" we can stop the vigilance. You probably look great already. Even thought it feels like you're not getting anywhere, you're at least learning what it takes to maintain, and accomplishing that. If you give up, you'll probably gain it back, like 95% of us do.
