Has anyone done the Half Dome hike?

My cousin and I are training to do the Half Dome hike in August. We have read a lot about it but it's always nice to hear from real people on MFP:happy:

    My dad has done it more than once. I plan on doing it very soon when I can find a free weekend. He is extremely fit so its good that you are training. The thing with hiking though is if you need to stop and take a break you can so thats good, you will do great, have fun!
