Okay so I have 4 weeks until I go on holiday! How do I speed up my weight loss? I'm not over weight, just got a few pounds to lose and to trim up. So how do I do this!? I'm 5 foot 9 and 131 pounds and carry it all on my tummy and butt. Any advice?

Eat 3 meals and 3 snacks a day and make sure your snacks are protein only

Lift weights. You won't get the results for your holiday but you will get the results you want if you stick to it.

At your weight (you're on the lower side of healthy) losing weight isn't going to achieve what you want. You need to change your body shape and lifting weights is the best way to do that.

Yeah totally agree that I don't really have a lot to lose, buti have awful cellulite so yeah maybe you're right. Strength training will firm me up. Anything I can do regarding what to eat though? Foods to avoid?

eat clean : protein veggies and fruits. drink water and no sodas or juices. eat at a slight deficit (5-10%),. and start lifting heavy weights yesterday. look upa program called strong lifts,. it's free and there are just a few compound movements that you focus on. if you're close to your goal weight then you should see some results within 4 weeks

Okay :) thanks for the advice. What about eating oats and wholemeal pita/bread/grains? Or is that not really advised when wanting quick progress?

I personally am of the opinion that a calorie is a calorie is a calorie, but I'm still losing my weight and don't really have personal advice for those last few pounds. I have read others on here say low carb helps short term. You're losing water weight so it won't be permanent but will work short term.
