Vitamin C content in a Pepper!!

The last two days my Vit C intake has been like 190% so i thought i would track vitamin c in my diary.. it's from eating 1/4 a pepper!! it shows vit c content as 190 for the 1/4 not sure what unit that 190 equates to?? grams?? but it's a crazy amount!!

Many fruits and vegetables lose vitamins over time after they have been picked. So it may not necessarily be as high. It's still is a very good source though0 -

Yep, peppers (or capsicum in my lingo) are great if you're worried about scurvy or keeping your sperm count high. They're a great food, raw or cooked.0
