New guy: strength trainer

Hi to all,

I'm Vaughan. I'm 29 from the UK. I'm married with 3 kids. I work in distribution but want to train to become a history/primary school teacher.

I'm VERY much into strength training and want to compete in a regional strongest man competition sometime next year. So my goals are specific towards that end.

I need to lose fat and work on my lean mass being increased. As everyone knows, it's next to impossible to build muscle and lose fat at the 'same' time. So all I'm aiming for, right now, is to drop 500 cals a day from my daily needs and see where I end up but whilst keeping/building strength in my lifts.
