So after New Years I decided to stop complaining about my weight and get off my duff and fix it. My wife gave me a boxing gym membership for Christmas so I actually signed up lol.
I hit my first target this morning so I have decided to suck it up and put my pictures on the web.
This is New Years Eve at 238 or so:

GOOD FOR YOU!! YOU LOOK GREAT!
I have a question though, what did it take to get you motivated enough to really do it? My husband has a gym membership, but he has bad knees, so that makes even walking the treadmill a chore. Any suggestions?0 -

Thanks. It was my not being able to run with my kids, that my wife got me the membership, and the final straw was that I my first picture was when we were visiting my big brother who had also dropped a bunch of weight. Also, I'm learning to box so it doesn't completely feel like I am exercising, but rather learning something and my competitiveness took over.
I have bone spurs in both of my ankles and there was a lot of pain when I tried to jog or walk on a treadmill. I finally sucked it up and went to a doctor and did PT to fix that.0
