After exercise, meaning during cool down or even later? I'd say 100 to 130.

I'm not young, but I'm not 75. My heart rate can go up to as high as 180 (I've always had a fast heart rate). When it gets that high, I try to get it down to the 150, and to 130 for lesser intensity periods. Immediately after I'm done, I think it goes down pretty quickly to about 100.

My resting heart rate can be anything from very high 60s to low 80s.

My heart rate during & after exercise is high...I have a healthy heart according to my doctor but a very fast heart rate...So after cardio it is anywhere b/t 120-140 depends on what I have done...It also takes a while for it to come down...but that is & has always been normal for me...

ETA: Mine is for after...Not during...I am scared to say what it is during...lol

Mine sitting is 68. After a workout where it can go to 180+ it hangs about 100 for a while.

I've been told my heart is healthy, too. But at times while exercising I look at the reading and think I should be dead.

During cardio I average about 140 and max at around 170. By time I get done with my cool down its usually around 115. It doesnt take too long for it to go down to 100 after I sit down.

After stopping cardio my heart rate starts to immediately nose dive into a lower number. Usually upper 70's to maybe mid 80's. My resting heart rate is very low though, upper 40's to lower 50's normally. My Polar FT4 HRM based on the stats I added, has my 'target HR zone' at 125 - I think it's 160 (?). I have a heck of a time getting it up to 125 and then STAYING there. *highest I get it sometimes is in the 130's-140's.
I have to practically kill myself to get there and then bust my butt to stay there and I almost never stay there.

It's annoying to say the least.
Otherwise I believe my heart is normal, just beats a little slower than some.
  • Always been amazed by those individuals whose HR's are naturally low. Took me awhile to earn the raised eyebrow of pulse takers in my life (nurse practitioner, phlebotomist, doctor, etc). There is a bit of pride in having them say, "You've got an athletes heart rate", "good Job". God bless
