I had a really bad weekend. Started off that I had my mom and daughter at the house. I had to cook for them and I fried, yes fried, some pork chops. Mistake #1. Then Saturday morning I started feeling bad with a really bad headache. By that evening I was throwing up. Sunday morning and all day Sunday I was throwing up. I was supposed to go to Mom's for her birthday dinner. I didn't make it so at least I didn't eat the cake and the big dinner. I went to the hospital Sunday evening, turns out I had a really bad migraine and that was making me throw up. So I didn't eat anything all day Sunday. My husband bought Girl Scout cookies-THIN MINTS!! I helped him eat a box yesterday and we went out for mexican food!!! NOT GOOD!!! So if I have a gain this week I will know why!!! Dang it. I was doing so well!!!!
I have a party to go to tonight, I hope they are serving a veggie tray. I can just eat the veggies without the ranch!!!! I also have a dentist appt today so maybe I won't want to eat!!!!

Hey...hey...it's okay. This happens to the best of us! Trust me. It seems like I have a bad weekend almost every weekend. But I am getting better and the weight I gain usually tends to come from retaining water (I don't drink nearly enough on the weekends) and comes off within the first day or so of the new week. And I am consistently losing. So...don't worry too much. Getting sick is not something you can avoid and indulging the day after not eating anything should not hurt you. Your body just needs to get back to normal. So, get back on track and I'm sure you will be fine! Good luck! YOU CAN DO IT!!!:flowerforyou:

let me make you feel better:
3 words: peanut buster parfait.
and if that weren't bad enough i had a "wineburger" on friday. (don't ask, it was fabulous). at least i walked 3 hours straight on saturday. but after eating all that, i didn't even have the common decency to throw up. sheesh!0 -
Have you ever noticed how you feel like you've been hit by a semi after throwing up? Your entire body was getting a workout, plus you weren't consuming calories... the way I look at it, you probably didn't come close to breaking even on your cookies & mexican. And I just have to say, mmmmmmm, thin mints! :laugh:0

Yeah, there was a post on here a while back about what food you can NOT pass up. Thin Mints would have to be on the top 10 list!!!!
I must have thrown up 15 times in those 2 days so my body was pretty worn out!!!!
I just hope I can over come this week and have a good weigh in on Sunday!!!!
