White Rice

This is one of my most favorite foods and I can't seem to get enough of it. I've tried many different flavors of brown rice in order to break my bad addiction to white rice but I just do'nt like it. However, I am now trying brown rice's distant cousin, parboiled rice and I like it. My question is, do you think eating the rice every other day will hinder my weight loss? I am remaining within the 1200 to 1300 calorie restriction each day so I am eating the correct amount of calories. I'm just worried about the carbs.
Thanks

I have read that white rice has a high glycemic index which supposedly triggers insulin which triggers hunger for more

ever notice that you can fill up at a chinese restaurant and feel hungry again by the time you hit the parking lot?

not sure if its true but I dont eat it....not enough nutrients for me, but thats me

I love rice. I eat white rice a lot of the time for lunch. I'll add it as a side during dinner as well. I usually eat in moderation and small portions. Cutting out carbs works for some people but not all. I eat rice almost every day and I'm doing just fine.
