British Girl on a mission!

Hello, I'm Cat - 25 years old and living in the beautiful West Country. I've always carried a little too much weight - I'm not going to blame genetics or anything: it's very simple - I'm greedy and I mindlessly overeat (total bread addict...) It's entirely my own fault. But I'm so tired of not being the gorgeous shape I want to be!
I lost a lot of weight in 2011 and completely changed my body shape with MFP and some hard graft at the gym - but gained it back when I went off the rails a little to enjoy Christmas (totally okay in my book) and never got back on them again after New Year (not okay in anyone's book.)
I seem to have an all or nothing mentality. Either I'm totally lacking discipline, or I'm at the gym every evening for hours. Neither is sustainable - I need to get some balance and find a maintainable level of commitment. That's what this summer is all about for me.
My aim is for fit, not skinny. Strong, not weak. I also want exercise to play a greater role in my social life, as I'm pretty sure this will be key to me making it a habit that lasts a lifetime. To this end, I'm starting a running club, circuit training classes and a roller derby team!
So here I am, 2 and a half stone heavier than I want to be. 39 pounds to kiss goodbye to. I'd love to have you along for the ride - feel free to add me: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/Oh_Cat
