I need motivation. Today I looked in the mirror and hated what I saw. Im at 180, my goal being 165, and im all flab. I know my diet needs to change, especially the past month (its been terrible). I have p90x and the resistance bands but I hate doing it. Im open to going to the gym but everyone suggests full body workouts like pushups, pullups, bench press, all of which im self conscious about doing. Id rather use the machines but no one has suggested for me to use them. I just need help. =(

It sounds like you're focusing all on the "how" rather than on the "why." Your goal is 165: why? What will happen if your weight is 165 instead of 180? Is there a reason you want to achieve that, other than because you think you're supposed to? If you hate doing those workouts, then why are you doing them? If you can't think of really good answers to those questions, then you need to find some. Unless you want it, you won't do it. Life is too short to spend doing things that you don't like to pursue things you don't want. Determine your own personal reasons to make these health and lifestyle changes and then find ways that will get you there, rather than doing the hard part first and hoping you end up with something you like.0

Do you have a membership at the gym ? I suggest you get one and should do weight training 3 times a week and cardio 4 times a week for 30 minutes. I suggest u get a training that will help you met your goals and yes you have to change what your eating. No more fried food and limit alchol drink 8 glasses of water. See an nutrinonist and they show you how to eat in portions. Good luck I know you can do it.0

You can find a LOT of motivation by using MFP. I just joined in April and I can't get enough of it! I think the most important thing for you would be to find something you ENJOY doing that will count as exercise. Try something you haven't tried before because you might be surprised how much you will enjoy it. That makes it so much easier. Also, try to find a friend or family member to workout with. That's helped me a lot because that makes it much more enjoyable when your not doing it alone. I'm here to offer you motivation if you need it0
