80+lbs gone, little comparison pic

Hopefully this pic will work ok. My weight loss has stalled at 220lbs for around a month so, a lot down to having lots of social functions and mini breaks but also as ive switched to maintenance cals to focus on my fitness and to put some muscle back on. So i wanted to give myself a little boost to remind myself what i tell everyone, the scales are evil, deceiving tricksters and should not be trusted

I have a 5k race in a months time and im hoping for a sub 25 minute time and im just starting a 5x5 strength routine to try and build myself back up a bit again.

Sorry the recent pic is blurred and the older pic is only really a shoulders/head shot.. i hated having my picture taken at that size so there arent many of me.

Most of the weight so far was lost on MFP, not cutting anything out, just watching the cals, i love food so exercise is a big thing for me as it allows to me enjoy it and ive really noticed a difference in my energy levels and general wellbing.

...clearly a lot more hard work to do before my Wedding in september but i think im close, maybe another 5% bodyfat or so and id be happy... im nearly 40 so i dont think i need to worry about getting ripped to land that Calvin Klein contract

Fantastic work. In a few months I think I will be trying to do what you are doing now, as I am running 5k in 35 min and want to get it sub 30. Still doing the first big cut though. Pics like this are an inspiration!
